Hey all! So, me and my entourage are Thailand-bound in 7 days, for 3 months. At last we have a tentative itinerary! We will be working in Phuket, Pattaya, and Chiang Mai, reaching out in the red light district, to children, university students, and anyone else the Lord directs us to.
Our vision statement:
-to carry supernatural joy regardless of circumstances
-to passionately exemplify the love of Christ through action and words of identity and value
-to be led by the Spirit in brokenness, humility, and unity.
I'm stoked. God is so at work and has so specifically put us together. We're just going for it already - quick testimony we're just into praying for radical things so on Wednesday we fasted lunch and prayed together. One of the things we prayed for was no mosquito bites as some members of our team swell up really bad. So we just claimed that God has authority over mosquitoes and that He is our net and repellent. And then some of my team went out to the gorge where there's bugs in abundance and none of them got bit! And people standing right beside them got bit. God is so cool.
